Gifts to the Lincoln Unitarian Foundation are welcome at any time. Life events which make us mindful of connections to our church are often times when we consider donations. However, you may also choose to give on an annual basis to support the church's long-range goals. All gifts and bequests are tax deductible.
Donations may be in the form of cash, real estate, insurance policies, securities, or through a charitable remainder trust. Conveyances should be made in the name of the "Lincoln Unitarian Foundation." Planned or deferred gifts may be made by a specific bequest in your will or trust. Your attorney should advise you as to its exact form. A simple provision might be: "I give $ ______ to the Lincoln Unitarian Foundation, a Nebraska Corporation." You may wish to bequeath a specific percentage of your estate rather than a dollar amount. |
