Artist's Statement:

My recent work consists of oil paintings and drawings of images of small town life with an emphasis on the beauty of old and sometimes neglected buildings.  I find the textures of the buildings fascinating.  My attempt is to show the peeling paint and rotting plaster to be of great beauty superior to the pristine facade of the the building.
