LUNCH WITH YOU

I always can’t wait to meet for lunch,
Pieces of lives make up the menu.
You’re always sweet to notice.

Time goes way too fast
I keep you way too long,
And so, am sorry, but only sort of.
 I think you sort of notice.

How does one end to later continue
When it’s time to say good bye?
Always something else to say…
Am so unsure of what … or why.

Wanted so bad to say something today
But instead … I just turned away,
. . . . . . .
Wondered if you noticed.

You had to go ……….but,
Longed for you to stay,
Instead, silly me,
just went and turned away.

Why is it easier to say on paper
What can’t be said in person?
So … I just turn away,
Hoping……………
instead, that you would notice.


Drawing, design, and creativity have always been part of me.  I like to implement my ideas in various media: watercolor, graphite, oil, or clay.

My latest medium is heat-set DYES.  Painting with dyes on SILK can be fluid, spontaneous, and intense in regard to both color and experience.

I often use figures as vehicles to express states of being, stages of life and relationships, and moments of inter-connectedness.   Usually individual paintings are conceived as part of a whole in a series that tells the story.  The story--humanity--fluid, spontaneous, and intense.
